So with the holidays comes lots of shopportunites! This year I was one of those many people on Black Friday chugging lots of coffee, standing in long lines and enduring the tortuous cold weather all in the name of a "good deal." I think next year I will keep it to online shopping. I did however find some amazing deals on Black Friday. I spent $40 on $150 worth of toys at Toys R' Us for my kid, $50 on $150 worth of clothes and jewelry for me and the fam, and $50 on a $150 digital camera for me at WalMart!!. But this is the first year that I heard about Cyber Monday. Apparently these Cyber Monday deals beat Black Friday sales. I have noticed countless business have found more success with this "online Black Friday," that they have continued the Cyber Sales throughout the month of December. Tis the season for saving money on gifts and gas indeed!
Shopping Tip of the Day!:
Check for products online before visiting the store so you have a game plan in place for those in-store only deals. The longer you take to shop means a possible long wait to check out so have a strategic plan will only benefit you. If it is a doorbuster, then you will have to arrive early.

It has been a while since my last posts but I have been searching for deals so much since the holiday season is fast approaching. I have been a haute look member for a short while now and am truly amazed at all the deals I'm finding! It's like a mini shopping mall for a family. You can find great deals on kids toy structures and apparel, mens and womens apparel, beauty products (like Urban Decay which is on sale today!!! I just love their eyeshadow primer potion!), housewares, and even travel packages(who knew!!!-I do now!). They are absolutely amazing. Check them out:

Exciting shopping trip!!
So I had an amazing shopping trip at Kohl's today! My local newspaper provided a $10 off $30 coupon for them. When I got to the store, they had clearance racks everywhere and had an additional promotion for $10 per every $50 you spend. I spent $55 dollars on $100 worth of items form my son ( new chuck Taylor's, backpack and four shirts with a major name brand). The items rung up to $65 and reduced to $55 after the $10 off coupon and then I got an additional $10 cash to spend which makes the overall purchase $45! Any saving 50% off or more is wonderful! SHOPPING TIP:The great thing about Kohl's is that they will allow you to combine their Kohl's cash with any coupon of theirs that they publish. So my next trip is going to be just as amazing. I do have to wait to use my $10 cash back as that offer is valid from October 27th-November 12th. But it is still a great deal. I won't have to rack up $30 worth of goods. I could essentially get an item for free or cents to the dollar. I think I need to get some more jewelry. I just saw Jennifer Lopez's jewelry line for the first time today and it is gorgeous. Vera Wang has an amazing jewelry line at Kohl's as well and I already have quite a few of her pieces in my collection.

On TARGET Savings!

So I just left the Target.com website as they are promoting some great deals and I want to get a major jumpstart on my holiday shopping. As I surfed thru their site, I found a lot of my everyday household items on their coupon page. I am super excited because I have lots of manufacturer coupons for them and that is double savings for me! Yayyy! Remember: Target is one of those stores that accepts manufacturer coupons on top of their store coupons and mobile coupons. I am seeing a nice haul in my near future! They also are promoting daily deals so check those out to. They literally have a clock that counts down for those deals so don't miss out. There is also a 15%-75% off clearance promo going on now as well. You don't even need to register to their site to get great deals! All you need is a printer and download their coupon printer software and you are well on your well to great savings!

I have a little one so birthdays and Xmas is not only a fun time for the kid but it also means a lot of money can escape my pockets. Some retailers offer exclusive online deals that can amount to great savings for you! I have already found deals at a few toy vendors online where I will save big!
Bonus Tip:
If a store is having a sale, check for both manufacturer,online and mobile coupons for that store. (Remember to check the store policy!!). Since I am on the topic of holiday shopping and great deals I'm finding on toys, I found a deal through Target where they offered a $5.00 off coupon for a transformer dark moon series toy(priced $7.99 or higher) and then they had a mobile coupon for $5. That made the toy free!

Shopportunity Tip of the day: Coupon Craze!
So, I have been HOOKED on couponing since watching the TLC show "extreme couponing." I will be posting all my tips as I become a couponer expert.
Tip of the day:
Make sure to check your retailers coupon policy!!!
Not all stores are cut from the same cloth. Some stores do not double coupons, others do not take internet coupons or coupons for free products. Some store limit the amount of coupons or scans per transaction. It is extremely important that you become well versed in your grocer's policy to avoid embarrassment at checkout. Most of the people that you see on the show, combine coupons(store coupons, internet coupons, free product coupons), to get the best deal. I'm in northern California and most stores in my area do not double...period. So much creativity is required to get a really good deal! I will be posting videos here and on my you tube channel soon with my successful hauls so stay tuned!
