So, I have been HOOKED on couponing since watching the TLC show "extreme couponing." I will be posting all my tips as I become a couponer expert.
Tip of the day:
Make sure to check your retailers coupon policy!!!
Not all stores are cut from the same cloth. Some stores do not double coupons, others do not take internet coupons or coupons for free products. Some store limit the amount of coupons or scans per transaction. It is extremely important that you become well versed in your grocer's policy to avoid embarrassment at checkout. Most of the people that you see on the show, combine coupons(store coupons, internet coupons, free product coupons), to get the best deal. I'm in northern California and most stores in my area do not double...period. So much creativity is required to get a really good deal!
